FBCS Ministries

Worship Services

Our worship services at 10AM on Sundays are a time for our community to come together in faith and praise. We begin with a warm welcome and Bible reading, followed by singing songs of praise & worship together. After taking up the offering and sharing some brief announcements and prayer requests, we we move to the sermon - a central part of our service where we explore Scripture and its relevance to our lives today We close with a final song of worship. On the first Sunday of each month, we also celebrate Communion together. We'd love for you to join us and experience the joy of worshiping as a community!

Our Sunday evening services at 6PM provide another opportunity for us to gather together, praise God through song, and dive deeper into the Scripture.

Sunday School

Our Sunday School classes offer something for everyone, starting at 9AM each Sunday. We have classes for children & youth, young adults, adults, ladies, and seniors. Whether you're taking your first steps in faith or have been on the journey for years, our Sunday School classes provide a welcoming environment to learn, grow, and connect with others.

Prayer Meeting

Join us for a time of prayer on Wednesdays at 6:30PM. Pastor Ben guides the group through a thoughtful prayer session. We also incorporate group singing to uplift our spirits.

Children's Ministry

The Kid's Ministry at FBCS is an interactive, Christ centered, Bible rich environment. We challenge the kids in knowing the Scriptures and help them fall deeper in love with Jesus. We have a ton of fun in the classrooms as we work on applying God's truths to their lives. Sunday mornings we run Sunday School for all ages, followed by a high energy kid's worship service where the kids get involved in the lesson and are given strong Biblical teaching. Also, on Wednesday evenings, we run kid's programs that are more activity based but still keep Christ and the Gospel in the center of it all. We do our absolute best to take advantage of our limited time with the kids to help them develop a strong Biblical Worldview that will carry them into adulthood with a strong Biblical foundation and firm personal convictions.

Youth Group

Youth in grades 6 - 12 meet on Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM in the upstairs youth room. Sunday evenings are time we gather together to worship and learn from God's Word. We discuss how we can apply what we learn from the Bible to our everyday lives. It's a time for youth to gather together in a comfortable and informal setting where Jesus is magnified and the Gospel is shared.

We also meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM in the upstairs youth room. Wednesday evening is a time we dive into the Bible to learn the truths of Scripture. It is a time where Bible reading is the focus. We learn how to be better followers of Jesus through the guidance given to us through Scripture.

Community Food Distribution

On the third Wednesday of each month, we reach out to our Shelburn neighbors through our food distribution ministry. Starting at 6:30 PM, community members can drive up to our kitchen door to receive boxes of groceries. This service is more than just food - it's an opportunity to connect with and support our community. We're also here to listen and offer spiritual support, taking prayer requests and concerns from those we serve. It's our way of sharing love and hope, one box at a time.

Missions

At FBCS, we believe in sharing the message of Jesus Christ beyond our local community. Our missions work focuses on bringing hope and support to those who may not have heard the Gospel before. We reach out to diverse cultures and unreached groups, embodying Jesus' call to serve others.
